Xiaomi 11T Review, Flagship Performance, Price and Specs

Xiaomi 11T Review, Flagship Performance, Price and SpecsXiaomi recently officially released its end-of-year product, the Xiaomi 11T Series. This android smartphone consists of two variants, namely Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro. The price is still relatively affordable, cheaper than the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra, but how does it perform?

Xiaomi 11T Review

The difference between the 11T and 11T Pro is not much, but it is noticeable. The system on a chip (SoC) used, namely the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 vs Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. However, this obvious difference in specifications is also separated by a hefty price difference.

Xiaomi 11T Design

The body of the Xiaomi 11T itself is relatively thick. Unlike most flagship-class phones, this is because of its large battery, which is 5,000 mAh. IP53 certification is present on this phone, which means the 11T is quite resistant to dust and splashes of water to some degree. Interestingly, the rear body of the 11T is not too easy to get dirty due to the user’s fingerprints. The body is also not too slippery, especially the Mi 11, which is very slippery at the rear.

Another difference between the Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro is the included charger. If the Pro version is equipped with a 120W charger, the 11T has ‘only’ 67W charger, the same as the one on the Mi 11 Ultra. This charger is claimed to be able to fully charge from empty in 36 minutes.

The Xiaomi 11T fingerprint sensor is on the power button, just like some other Xiaomi phone series. The sensor is responsive, the position fits, and is comfortable when used.

There are two SIM card slots, each nano-sized. There is no microSD slot for additional storage. The IR blaster that is the hallmark of Xiaomi also remains, which makes this phone a remote for various other devices. Oh yes, there is no 3.5mm audio port on this phone.

Xiaomi 11T Screen

Compared to the Mi 11, which has a curved screen on the side, the 11T appears with a flat-screen. The panel used is AMOLED with FHD + resolution, and its size is 6.67 inches. 120Hz refresh rate equipped with the AdaptiveSync feature to adjust the frame rate according to the displayed content.

This panel can display bright colors like other AMOLED panels, and because it uses a flat panel, we think the 11T is more comfortable watching videos and playing games than the Mi 11, which has a curved screen.

The flagship feeling on this phone is also seen from the Gorilla Glass Victus layer used to coat the screen. This screen is also flanked by stereo speakers at the top and bottom or left and right when the phone is horizontal. Fun to watch videos with blaring sound.

The Xiaomi 11T is only available in one option, which is 8GB/256GB. His brain is Dimensity 1200-Ultra. Unlike its ‘Pro’ sibling, which uses Snapdragon 888, famous for its performance (and heat).

Although ‘only’ using MediaTek, this 11T has a competent benchmark score. If it’s only Slingshot Extreme and Slingshot in 3DMark, the score is stuck, aka ‘Maxed Out!’. While in Wild Life Extreme, the score obtained is 4100s.

How about playing games?

You can set the highest graphics settings with fps in the range of 60fps. Even so, the gaming experience will not be disturbed because there are no lag symptoms at all. So, in addition to running the game smoothly, you also get the best graphics in the game you play.

For those who want to play competitively, you can take advantage of the high refresh rate feature on the Xiaomi 11T. With a 120Hz refresh rate support, you can play various games on the low-medium and the highest refresh rate settings.

Gaming Performance

The experience of playing the PUBG New State game was very exciting. The Xiaomi 11T can stably run the game in the 90 fps range. What’s more, combined with the touch sampling rate of 480Hz, you’ll feel the touch response becomes instantaneous action.

Regarding the temperature of the cellphone, the Xiaomi 11T is reasonably normal when playing games. There is no overheating experience during gameplay, so you can play games for hours without worrying about overheating.

So, if you’re looking for a smartphone that can run games comfortably and at an affordable price, check out the Xiaomi 11T. In addition to offering the best gaming experience, this smartphone also embeds various other features.

Xiaomi 11T Camera Review

It’s not complete to discuss a cellphone without talking about its camera performance. Because the camera is usually one of the determinants when choosing a cellphone. Xiaomi 11T is equipped with a 108MP pro-grade triple-camera to produce the highest resolution images with support from AI to support user creativity.

The triple camera for the rear camera includes a 108MP pro-grade triple camera system ultra-wide, 5MP telemacro, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It was optimized with the latest technology of 9-in-1 pixel binning, which takes sharp images without excessive noise and the smart Dual Native ISO feature, which will select an ideal camera ISO setting for the conditions when the photo was taken.

Price and Conclusion

Xiaomi 11T is priced at $418.00, about $100 cheaper than the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The difference is that it is ‘only’ Snapdragon 888 vs Dimensity 1200. This Xiaomi 11T, in our opinion, is an exciting phone. Unless, of course, you are an adherent of SoC, understanding Qualcomm is better than MediaTek.

Compared to Mi 11, we think the Xiaomi 11T is more comfortable playing games and watching videos because of its flat screen. Even when playing heavy games, the 11T is more comfortable because the temperature is not as hot as the Mi 11. The Xiaomi 11T is available in Meteorite Grey, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue color variants.
