Samsung Galaxy S21 Series, Price, and Everything You Need to Know

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series, Price, and Everything You Need to Know – Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra are Samsung’s latest 5G flagships. This smartphone represents the pinnacle of technology created for consumers in the conventional smartphone form factor. This phone comes with class-leading technology, and for the first time, a phone outside of the Galaxy Note lineup offers the coveted S Pen experience.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Price and Release Date

Samsung has been criticized for raising prices with the Galaxy S20 series, but it seems ears are keeping it low. The Galaxy S21 series is not subject to a higher price tag; actually, the price is a little lower than we expected. Here are the official starting prices for the lineup:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 128GB – $ 799
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 + 5G 128GB – $ 999
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 128GB – $ 1,199

Galaxy S21 Series Chipset

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset will support the Galaxy S21 model in the US. At the same time, the new Exynos 2100 is planned for European and Indian units and devices aimed at other international markets such as South Korea. The Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 chipsets are based on the latest 5-nanometer process, enabling a noticeable increase in battery life, and offers 5G network connectivity.

As standard, the S21 and S21 + come with 8GB of RAM. At the same time, you’ll find 12 or 16GB of RAM inside the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung is betting on 128GB storage as standard with a 256GB variant option and an extra 512GB model for the S21 Ultra. This will undoubtedly be a welcome move as the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 are set for 128GB. Samsung has offered microSD card support on its flagships for years, but that changed with the Galaxy S21 series. Neither of the three new phones has a microSD card slot.

Galaxy S21 Series Display

Let’s start with a look at the Galaxy S21 series. All three devices in the series get 2x Dynamic AMOLED displays, with 120Hz variable refresh rates, 20: 9 aspect ratio, and HDR10 + support. These smartphone devices have Infinity-O displays, which is Samsung’s marketing term for a centered punch-hole display. You can get the latest Gorilla Glass Victus on the front on all three phones for protection from scratches and drops. And like the previous Galaxy S models, the Galaxy S21 series also gets the Always-On Display function.

The main difference between the three smartphones is the screen size, the Galaxy S21 6.2 ″ on the Galaxy S21 plus being 6.7 ″ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 6.8 ”. Additionally, the regular and Plus variants have relatively flat FHD + panels. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a place where things can get a little interesting, as the display has smooth curves at the edges and bumps up to QHD + resolution.

This is the first time that the Samsung Galaxy flagship will get QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and 120Hz refresh rate with QHD + resolution as an option. There’s also a difference in peak brightness, with the Ultra being as bright as 1500 nits, while the other two are capped at 1300 nits, which is still a good deal.
