NVIDIA Has 3 New Laptop GPU and PC GPU in Early 2022 – NVIDIA announced the presence of three new GPUs for the laptop segment. They use their proprietary Turing and Ampere architecture built into the GeForce RTX 2050, GeForce MX570, and MX550.
For a GeForce RTX 2050, this is the lowest RTX SKU offered by NVIDIA. This GPU is based on the Ampere graphics architecture. In addition, they will also use the same architecture for the GeForce MX570.

And for the GeForce MX550, NVIDIA uses the Turing architecture. This is the best combination for gamers who want an affordable gaming laptop.
NVIDIA offers three new GPUs for laptops, namely:
- GeForce RTX 2050
- GeForce MX570
GeForce RTX 2050, MX570, MX550 Specification
The GeForce RTX 2050 is based on a GA107 GPU core with 2048 CUDA cores for specs. When compared to the RTX 2060, this specification is higher.
This GPU also has a clock speed of up to 1477 MHz and has a TGP of up to 45W. This GPU has 4GB of GDDR6 memory at 14 Gbps but runs on a 64-bit bus interface that provides 112 GB/s of bandwidth.
As for the GeForce MX570 and MX550, NVIDIA did not provide detailed specifications at launch. However, it looks like the MX570 is based on the Ampere GA107 GPU. Meanwhile, the MX550 uses a Turing TU117 GPU.
NVIDIA also revealed that the GeForce RTX 2050 and MX500 series support all the latest features such as ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, Reflex, and Broadcast. Users will get a laptop with this GPU in the spring of 2022.
NVIDIA’s Newest GPU
NVIDIA is also rumored to be introducing its newest line of GPUs soon. However, they will not present a lineup of GPU successors to the Ampere architecture but a refreshed version of the current GPU.
This was revealed by a Twitter user named hongxing2020. He mentioned that NVIDIA would launch three new graphics cards, namely:
- GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER
- RTX 3070 Ti
- RTX 2060
GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER, RTX 3070 Ti, RTX 2060 Specification
These three GPUs will be made in early 2022. Of course, this is surprising news, as NVIDIA will still provide support for RTX 20 series GPUs.
If the above information is correct, we will see the new GeForce RTX 3090 SUPER (GA102) graphics card and the RTX 3070 Ti with 16 GB of memory. And for the GeForce RTX 2060 will come with 12GB of VRAM.
This leak aligns with previous leaks, which said that NVIDIA would be making a new RTX 2060 to address the shortage of existing GPUs. This GPU is also said to be launching in early 2022.
And interestingly, this leak doesn’t just come from one source. Several other Twitter users, such as kopite7kimi, have also talked about the GeForce RTX 30 SUPER series some time ago.
In addition to the three GPUs, NVIDIA is also expected to release various other GPUs, such as the RTX 3090 SUPER with 24GB of memory, the RTX SUPER 3080 with 12GB of memory, the RTX SUPER 3070 with 8GB of memory, and the RTX SUPER 3060 with 12GB of memory.
NVIDIA may also remove their 8GB variant, which is currently on the market, to make way for a more powerful GPU. If so, they want to put themselves above AMD with their current lineup of GPUs.
