Huawei P50 Review: Smartphone With Incredible Camera Power – After sometime later, many rumors have sprung up on the internet. The company has officially introduced its newest P series smartphones, namely the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro. On this occasion, Huawei first launched the P50 and P50 Pro for the domestic market in China. What’s interesting about its launch is that Huawei did not equip both versions of its smartphone with 5G connectivity support.

For the kitchen runway, Huawei equips the P50 with a Snapdragon 888 4G processor. While its brother, the P50 Pro, comes with two processor variants, namely Snapdragon 888 4G and Kirin 9000. Apart from the connectivity experience that may experience setbacks, this latest generation P series still relies on cameras supported by lenses from Leica.

The Huawei P50 series is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with various features. The Huawei P50 Series cameras can fully support 4K video recording across the full focal range. For image stabilization, the P50 and P50 Pro are equipped with the latest AIS Pro, which helps users easily capture videos more stably by hand. However, the P50 and P50 Pro have different camera settings.

The Huawei P50 only has a triple camera setup, which includes a 50MP True-Chroma Camera (Color, f/1.8 aperture), 13MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and 12 MP Telephoto Camera (f/3.4 aperture, OIS). While the P50 Pro has a quad-camera setup, which includes a 50 MP True-Chroma (Color, f/1.8 aperture, OIS), 40 MP True-Chroma (MONO, f/1.6 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle (f/1.6 aperture) camera. 2.2 aperture), and 64 MP Telephoto (f/3.5 aperture, OIS). The Huawei P50 has a 4,100 mAh battery for battery capacity, while the P50 Pro has a 4,360 mAh battery. Both versions are supported with 66W fast charging via the USB Type C port.

Meanwhile, the company presented the P50 with three color variants, Cocoa Gold, Pearl White, and Golden Black. Meanwhile, the P50 Pro has an additional Charm Pink color variant. Both versions have various memory and storage variants, which affect the selling price.

Availability in the market

As mentioned above, if the P50 and P50 Pro will only still be available for the Chinese market. The P50, which will be available in September for the 8GB RAM variant and 128GB internal storage, is sold at a starting price of CNY4,488 (Rp. 10 million). Then, the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will be sold from CNY 4,988 (Rp. 11 million).

While the P50 Pro, which became available in August, the Snapdragon 888 4G variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will start at CNY5,988 (Rp13 million). This is the cheapest variant of the P50 Pro. Meanwhile, there are also Snapdragon 888 4G and Kirin 9000 variants, each with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, as well as 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Kirin 9000 variant will provide variants with the highest RAM and internal storage configurations, namely 12GB and 512GB.
